“Dili kita ka level,” said the manager.
A video in YouTube spread about a quarrel between the Manager and the Tenant in Gaisano Mall, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.

The fight started when a tenant complaint about “early closing and a report that she was forced to sign.”
But instead to clarify the alleged report, the situation got worse.

Watch the video below

Netizens definitely reacted to what they saw on the video. They questioned the managerial skills of the manager and the behavior of the tenant

Geversley Gurrea

I totally Disagree for the high five for the Manager, She doesn't have total quality Management, To listen and conclude for any complaints, calling the head security is cowardliness, the tenant doesn't hurt her physically. And how about your Bastosing me!

tea jen

Yes - the tenant was rude. Well, what could you expect? The tenant did not agree to report. To handle a nuisance customer like this, the representative of a company must carry the situation gracefully and politely. Yes --we too reach our limit. But the fact that lady manager is representing an organization must be very careful when handling outsider complaints like this as this would reflect what the owners and management are. Manager was not fair also when she mentioned "dili tika level".

Regine13

At first, the tenant was calm. However, As early as 00:39 in the video when the tenant asked the manager the definition of closing time, the manager has raised her voice already. She was even arrogant in asking, "Why me, you are the one asking so you should define it! I am the manager here..."

Regine13

If you are going to think about it, the tenant is just asking for the justification of their action and that was to force them to sign a report not made by them but by the guard or supervisor.

We don't know what really happened but we should not judge the manager as a person but on how she handled the situation and the tenant on how she reacted.

Both parties a welcome to explain their side.

He is not going bankrupt said Filipino boxing and Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao as he denied on what the rumour said.

In a report on GMA News “24 Oras,” Pacquiao said that both of them didn’t talk for awhile. He was referring to boxing promoter Rex “Wakee” Salud.

Sun Star Daily in Cebu reported that Salud said that Pacquiao has lost all his money.
But in the 24 Oras report that Salud said that he was misquoted.

"Wala akong naalala na may sinabi akong naubos na ang pera ni Manny,” Salud said. “Nagtataka nga ako bakit may lumalabas na sinabi ko raw naubos na."

It was started, according to Salud, when Sun Star reporter questioned him whether or not Pacquiao is selling his property in Los Angeles because of bankruptcy.

"Hindi ako nagkomento,” Salud said. “'Eh bakit kailangang ibenta ni Manny, ubos na siguro pera niya?' Ang sabi ko lang, medyo nagipit siguro. 'Yan lang ang sinabi ko sa kanya."

Sarangani Vice Governor Jinkee Pacquiao confirmed the sale of their mansion in Los Angeles for $2.7 million but because they wanted to purchase a more private residence.

"Every time pumupunta kami dun, 'yung mga kapitbahay namin, nagrereklamo kasi daw maraming tao... So ngayon, gusto namin ibenta para maghanap kami ng gated at may security," she said in a separate report on GMA News TV's “Balita Pilipinas Ngayon.”

But Jinkee denied selling their P380-million house in posh Forbes Park.

"Sabi ko nga kagabi, 'yung reply ko sa tauhan ko na nag-text sa 'kin, 'That's funny!'" Jinkee said, referring to the bankruptcy report.

Pacquiao said they are targeting a property in posh Beverly Hills.

This coming November, Pacquiao will set to fight American slugger Brandon Rios.

Always have the heart in making your film said Mr. Ronald Gary Bautista to the 61 student participants after they presented five short films as part of the 1st Basic Film Making Workshop conducted at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Center last August 17-18, 2013.

Bayugan National Comprehensive High School (BNCHS) invited three speakers who are expert in making quality films from Davao City and already working on different independent filmmakers.

Ms. Angely Pamila Chi, Mr. Jose Bagane Fiola and Mr. Ronald Gary Bautista are all from Davao City, where they promote Bisaya Films by showing their works in different film festivals. All of them are award-winning on their respective movies.

The workshop was presented by Bayugan National Comprehensive High School (BNCHS) in partnership with Binisaya Film Makers in coordination with Balud Art Network to introduce the Bisaya films and inspire young people to make their own movies.

Gusto ko nga makabalo ug edit (I want to learn how to edit) said Kayee Vallejos of 4th year Special Program in Arts (SPA) student. I’m happy to have this workshop, she added.

Most of the groups found the hard part on editing. Some groups had no audio but it wasn’t a hindrance to them but instead it turns into a “Good Job” work.

August 17, 2013

Ms. Chi discussed about the Pre-Production: Story Development, Screenwriting and Storyboarding with inputs from her co-filmmakers Mr. Fiola and Mr. Bautista.

Topics related to Cinematography, Sound, Directing, Acting and Producing the Film were taught while showing some movie samples to inspire them on their film making as their final output.

Vherneil Acantilado, 4th year and Claire Pacating, 3rd year tried their creative minds to answer the activity given by Mr. Fiola on what angles to use in a situation where a girl is holding a hot bowl of soup walking barefoot approaching to an angry man.

And on the last part, the participants were very active in raising their queries to Mr. Bautista on his discussion about Post-Production: Video Editing and Sound Editing, Marketing the Film.

August 18, 2013

Five films were presented on the final day of the workshop at the same venue.

Group 3 got the attention of the connoisseurs because of their story about the a couple which their love story ended in a tragic way.

The experts amazed at the movie because the movie shows maturity of the writer.

After presenting and criticizing the works of each group, Ms. Chi, Founder of Balud Art Network gave a certificate to Mr. Mark Paguyo a Visual Art teacher of SPA in which, the Balud Art Network will aid the school (BNCHS) in terms of art workshops, artist's interactions and other art programs. The school will also receive logistical and promotional support from Balud Art Network.

Binisaya Films

Binisaya Films started last 2009 in Cebu and followed by Davao City where a community created to help those Mindanaons in making their own films.

Balud Art Network  is an organization founded by Mr. Angely Chi to give support to the aspiring Bisaya Films in the country.

Mr. Francis Ebardo, teacher from BNCHS and at the same time the organizer of the seminar, envision that those students who joined the workshop will be the key to make Bayugan City and Binisaya films marks on the map.

It is a silent day before election. Everyone is excited and getting ready for tomorrow’s election. Aside from the excitement brought by the automated election, everyone is also looking forward for a show of alindahaw or dragonflies.

Politicians are about to set free a large number of alindahaw towards their constituents. This show of power is a major event of the period, rivalling the final campaign rally. Many believe that the amount of alindahaw is a measure of the politicians’ success in the election. The more you set free, the bigger your chances are of winning.

These alindahaw though are not the typical dragonflies. They are different from common dragonflies for they have specific ranks and rarity that can be easily distinguished by their colours. Orange alindahaw are the lowest in rank, followed by red and violet. Green, yellow and sky blue are considered rare and high-ranking.

The alindahaw would fly from one household to another with extreme intelligence of where and who to land on. No need to worry who sent them as they always come along with the name of their master who is running for public office.

At the day of the election, alindahaw are still around for a final settlement of those who are not reached last night. This time however, the alindahaw are kept hidden and are given discreetly to people in the voting area.

By record, those politicians with more alindahaw usually win the election. But the registered voters know better not to vote them. Election is only a business for them. They do not have the heart to serve. They are there to hold power, money and fame.

We deserve better public servants. But then again, we deserve the kind of leaders we have. For as long we vote corrupt traditional politicians (or trapo), we are never getting away from this circle of helplessness we are in. For as long as the righteous and the real public servants, capable of running the government continue to evade public service, we have no choice but to elect the lesser evil among the trapo.

Today, the youths make up the large voting population around the world. This sector in the Philippines, for instance, has been predicted by many to be one of the principal players in the next presidential election.

And so I appeal to all the youths in every corner of the world: Be the change.

Change starts when we stop wishing and start acting. It starts when we get in to that election precinct and cast our votes. It starts when we stop patronizing trapo and supports politicians with clean and proven track records.

We cannot stop politicians from releasing alindahaw. What we can do is to accept the alindahaw flow on to us but not vote for their masters. Often, the sources of these alindahaw are the corrupt politicians. They give away the alindahaw knowing that when elected to office, they will control and get much more than what they spent.

We, the youths should not keep silent or be silenced in this important battle for good governance. We are the hope of our nation’s future. We are the face of change.

Be proactive. Be vigilant.
