According to PAG-ASA report a low pressure area (LPA) was estimated to arrive at 340 km East of Dinagat Isalnds (10.4 °N, 128.8°E) embedded along the monsoon trough that will affect Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Heavy rain showers and thunderstorms that may trigger flashfloods and landslides in the Eastern Visayas and Caraga region. While the rest of Visayas and of Mindanao will have a cloudy skies and light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms.
