Zero Casualty in Surigao del Norte and Dinagat Islands

Typhoon Yolanda has been given the title as "The wrecking ball"

Despite of the wrecking ball effect and the Signal Number 4 level of the storm's power raised in the provinces of Dinagat and Surigao del Norte, none of these reported a casualty, according to the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC) Caraga - Office of the Civil Defense (OCD).

On the last status of the Facebook account of RDRRMC Region 13, there is a Zero Casualty reported to their Operation Center.

It is a great start to these provinces that there is no casualty recorded, since these provinces are the hardly hit when a storm comes. Surigao del Norte, Dinagat Island and Siargao are along the path of storms in the past years.
