Alarming thought: Yolanda might change its track causes Agusan del Sur at Risk

Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) track as of 9 pm of November 7 |
Typhoon Yolanda might hit the province of Agusan del Sur if its track will change.
Mr. Martin, weather consultant of Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Office, feared that Typhoon Yolanda might change its direction just like what happened with Typhoon Pablo.
According to Mr. Martin, there is a high pressure area at the northern part of the Philippines and might be a reason to change its track just like what happened last year.
The landfall of Typhoon Pablo should be in Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, but because of the high pressure area of the northern part of the country, the typhoon went to Davao region and parts of Agusan del Sur and killed hundreds of people and destroyed millions of properties.
And he feared also that, Typhoon Yolanda is three times stronger that Pablo.
But due to the lessons learned by the province due to Typhoon Pablo, the province is now ready for the coming of the "Super" Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan).
All the municipalities were advised to be ready in all means. Advisories were already disseminated according to DILG (Agusan Del Sur) on the their inspection in every municipality.
But the provincial government of Agusan Del Sur already disseminates the necessary information thru tri-media and ready for any rescue operation.
