BNCHS Students learn Film Making from Experts of Davao

BAYUGAN City - Write according to your budget said Ronald Gary Bengil Bautista, one of the speakers in the 1st Basic Film Making Workshop held at the Sacred Heart Pastoral Center last August 17.
Over 61 students from Special Program in Arts from different year levels participated in the said activity. And they were grouped into 5 teams to make their own short film.
Bayugan National Comprehensive High School (BNCHS) invited three speakers who are expert in making quality films from Davao City and already working on different independent film makers.
This is the first time that a workshop on film making conducted in Bayugan City for the students who are very enthusiasts on making their movies.
The participants were very active in raising their queries to Mr. Bautista on his discussion about Post-Production: Video Editing and Sound Editing, Marketing the Film.
But before that, Ms. Angely Pamila Chi discussed about the Pre-Production: Story Development, Screenwriting and Storyboarding with inputs from her co-film makers Mr. Jose Bagane Fiola and Mr. Bautista.
Vherneil Acantilado, 4th year and Claire Pacating, 3rd year tried their creative minds to answer the activity given by Mr. Fiola on what angles to use in a situation where a girl is holding a hot bowl of soup walking using her barefoot approaching to an angry man.
Topics related to Cinematography, Sound, Directing, Acting and Producing the Film were also taught while giving some movie samples to inspire them on their final activity. In which the participants will make their own movie, to be presented on August 18, 2013.
